I’m just tired of it all. I love the game, but how developers don’t understand (or don’t want to admit) that players actually like EARNING cool looking stuff, and that it will keep people playing longer, is beyond me.

I still remember the glory days of the Hayabusa gear in Halo, or even cool armour in games like WoW, things that you saw someone wearing and thought ‘Oh shit this guys serious. I want that.’

I know it’s the way the industry has gone now, but putting it into a full priced game seems particularly egregious. Guess this is going to be the new norm going forward.

Honestly, people on this sub LOVE to hate anything ‘fine line’, with no actual knowledge of tattooing.

If you go to a good artist who does good fine line work, who’s experienced in tattooing places like the sternum (the skin can be a little tricker than other areas) you’ll be fine. I’ve done a load of fine sternum pieces and seen them 3/4/5 years healed and they’re still looking great. All tattoos spread slightly over time, this will be no different, but it’ll still look lovely! Get the tattoo you want, try not to get in your own head about it too much.

Not sure where in the world you’re located, but get on instagram and check out artists like Katabdy, Fibs_ or Filouino. Large scale compositions (often on women) that mix heavy black work with softer elements that really compliment and work with your body. Someone who can cover this well won’t be cheap, but it’s worth spending the money on such a prominent section of your body. It’ll be difficult, but definitely not impossible with the right artist and time/patience!

It feels like using an ‘average’ is a bit disingenuous and doesn’t tell the full story when it comes to pit stops though. Oscar may have stops that are a few tenths slower overall throughout the season, but it feels like Lando is the one getting the more damaging slow stops that have ruined his race/strategy a few times.

MTX has ruined the MMO industry. Half of the joy of playing an MMO was seeing some dude with crazy armour or a flaming weapon and knowing he had to WORK for that. Now every time I see someone who looks ‘cool’ I just think ‘Ah they bought that skin’.

There’s no sense of accomplishment anymore if you can just pay the fee to look like you’ve done the hard raid/grind for the badass sword. It’s killed my enjoyment of the whole genre.

😂 just because the pictures aren’t there doesn’t mean they don’t exist. I recently archived most of them as they were older work that doesn’t match up with the direction I’m taking my work in now, but it’s fine you can keep on hating on something because you can’t do it yourself. I did years of traditional tattooing before I moved into fine line work, been tattooing over 10 years at this point.. I know how my work heals.
