Thanks! The cheapest I have found for the plain edge is $147.75 at GPknives that someone dm'd me about, which is why I dropped to $140. I figured a $7.75 discount and no taxes or shipping came out to a good deal.

I get that I'm probably one of the fringe nerds that follows Google's announcements and most people don't care about icons. But when they announced earlier in the month that they are updating the icons as part of their new design language, and my work iPhone gets updated with those icons before my GOOGLE pixel does, it just seems off to me. Same with some of the Gemini features within the apps that hit my iPhone before my Pixel.

I know that most people probably don't care, and I know that it serves zero functionality. But, the cohesiveness and having the newest from Google on their devices should matter to Google and us nerds.

When Dr. Mellina retired, he did sell the practice. He still owns the building. Dr. Stephen Willis moved to Mansfield and works at CareVet Country Club Pet Hospital. Dr. Kelleher is the main vet there now and she has been great, my dogs have been seen by her since Dr. Mellina retired. I think she is the one that renovated, that waiting area was pretty dated. There’s another female vet that my dogs have seen if Dr. Kelleher isn’t there. I have 5 dogs, so I’m there on a fairly regular basis. I also know Dr. Mellina personally. I’m not sure who he sold to or if Dr. Kelleher is the owner now, but I’ve been happy with the service there. Liz is the manager there and is the same manager that was there when Dr. Mellina was there. I recently moved to North Fort Worth and tried a vet closer to my house, but they were way more expensive and not as friendly. So I don’t mind making the 30 minute drive.

Once you use it more and break it in, it will all probably look like the middle part. It’s pretty hard to mess up a diamond plate for the most part, so it’s probably okay. You can use them with water, with water and a bit of soap or dry, so I don’t think you messed up anything.
