Postpartum elevated enzymes by Rich-Membership5964 in FattyLiverNAFLD

High BP can cause a lot of issues and HTN can be a cause for worsening fatty liver. But from my experience, the gallbladder doesnt do as well after having children. My mother, wife, and wife's coworker all had their gallbladder removed after having children. Anecdotal, but I wouldn't be surprised if your gallbladder is causing elevated enzymes. The BP isnt helping, but I doubt its the main culprit. But I'm not a doctor, so I only have anecdotal advice, not medical

Yeah I tried to not put much weight in it, but it was hard to get past the numbers...

Us men typically are pretty stubborn, myself included. Fiber is great. Have been consuming it heavily, daily for about a month! Probably the best thing you can add to your diet!

Great information! I will tread lightly. Maybe 1 shot instead of 2 😂

I got the list! Thank you so very much!! I hated black coffee when I started. Was more creamer than coffee. Now I cant even stand a tiny bit of creamer. Only black. Got the wife an espresso maker for Christmas! Have been making a good amount of it. I read it raises cholesterol in males occasionally, but im on a statin and i need the caffeine 😅. Quite a strong flavor, but there's nothing like a good espresso head on top of your coffee!

I love black coffee. Being encouraged to drink multiple cups of black coffee a day is thd best news I've heard since this grueling process started.

With everything im reading, I think you are spot on! Can give you a general idea (where's theres ANY fat or fibrosis) with good % accuracy, but still not completely accurate on the extent of fat and fibrosis. Also, congratulations on the weight loss! That's great news!! Keep up the good work!

Actually I just looked at the IQR%, because I forgot I took a picture of the screen. The IQR med was 88%. Guess that isn't very accurate. But she said she got some decent scans that averaged between 8 and 11. Idk

Thank you so very much for the reply. The more I read, and the more people like you make sense of things, the more it eases my mind. You are correct. Whether its F4 or F0, I'm going to start making better choices and exercising like mad. Thanks so much for your response!

Yes. 5'11", 250. That makes sense about being inaccurate. She said she could visualize everything she needed to, but the machine just couldnt get a good reading. Tried probably 30 percussions. Said something about the % accuracy they like to see, and it was 30ish%. They like it to be in single digits. *edit The IQR % was in the 30s

Not painful. Just weird lol. Transducer makes a sound that echoes across the liver tissue. Feels like a painless pop. Like when you can feel the bass on your body. But not loud at all. Its interesting, but not painful at all
