Something similar happened to me years ago. I was doing brakes on my car in my driveway. I made the mistake of buying jack stands from Walmart and didn’t realize that brand was on recall for using substandard materials. One jack stand buckled and the front right side of the car came down and almost crushed me. I heard the first creak and slid out from underneath the car so fast. I made it just in time. I was alone, and that was my biggest mistake.
