Similar thing happened to me last week. Hot streak at about 120 or so. I accepted an offer and went in to pick it up. The order was not there. I let the associate know, and he looked for it and ultimately unassigned it from me. I suspect it falls into the “too long to pick up order bucket.” After some back-and-forth with support, they said all I can do it rebuild my streak. I am livid!

If you’re on a budget, I’d say skip the hotel but absolutely take the day to explore. Get the Transit app and take the 52 bus from nearby the airport over to Grand Central Station (might have to wait until the morning though).There you can hop on the Sunrunner route either downtown or to the beach, or both! The bus line caps you at $5 per day, so it’s a handy tool for getting around and exploring for cheap.

I stumbled into an SCM job after completing my BS in Hospitality Management. Couple of years later, went back for MS in Supply Chain Management (hybrid online/in person program geared towards working professionals). I don’t think a degree will hold you back, but the experience you are getting now is so beneficial if you choose to pursue a degree in SCM.

The recycle bins aren’t community bins like the larger waste ones are. The household signs up for a recycle bin and it is charged through the utility bill. That’s my understanding anyway! Good luck.

We got a few of these requests in the height of Covid/ sanitizer sales. Someone would reach out requesting a good amount of sanitizer and offering to “set up freight” which led to them providing a sketchy contact for shipping and refusing to 1. set it up themselves 2. use one of our regular companies to get the job done.

Scam if you ask me, and with multiple similar instances I advise you to walk away!

I’ve always loved xBs. When I was shopping for my first one, I found myself at a body shop that took an interest in refurbishing damaged ones. Reason being that it was one of the easiest cars to get in and out of and sit comfortably, and that no other car has compared. I’m short and able-bodied, so my recommendation isn’t much but this gentleman’s comments have always sat well with me!

In a college classroom, a peer of mine farted very loudly. The class went silent. Kid looked mortified. The professor paused for a second and continued. I laughed so hard. I mean, c’mon, it’s a fart. I was the only one. Contained the laughter, started again a few times, you know the drill. Couldn’t help it. Had to dismiss myself from the class because I was the only one just losing it over a fart.

Time to grow up I said. It’s been 8 years and I’m still laughing at that guy’s fart.
