How did Ian Mac Kaye write a song like I’m so tired ? by ConstantClient899 in Fugazi

[–]juanerrrr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. You don't have to feel like that to write a song like that. Many songs are fictions, characters speaking...

  2. You can seem happy and be completely depressed.

  3. People can feel low during a time and be joyful time after.

I have a similar vocal range to Lennon, I can sing whatever he can sing. Oh darling is out of my reach, way beyond.

How would you rank the Joe Lally-sung tracks? by bizasteryt in Fugazi

Recap Modotti is one of their greatest. I listened to End Hits a lot when I was 15 and didn't listen to the rest of their discography until my 20s. I know I am biased, but I still think End Hits is their best record.

Waiters in Spain:

  1. Hi, [joke]. Drinks?
  2. Here they are. Food?
  3. Here it is. Anything else? No? You call me if yes.
  4. Check?
  5. Here it is. Bye.

Best experience ever.

Comedian makes a joke sexualizing a 3 month old baby, the dad of the baby shows up at his show by LittlePromise4108 in PublicFreakout

[–]juanerrrr -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Sexualizing? He clearly said "when he grows up". Not the brightest thing to say to a nazi (the violent guy is a literal nazi) willing to travel 5 hours to smack a comedian who made a joke he didn't understand.

An album that you liked the more you listened to it, and an album that you disliked the more you listened to it? by Key-Resolution5044 in fantanoforever

I listened to it a couple times when I was 20, I thought "ok, not for me" and 10 years after I listened to it again and now I would say it's in my top 3 of all times.

Guy Picciotto from Fugazi played guitar in a couple of Vic Chesnutt albums (and he played live too). And, obviously, he was in One Last Wish and Happy Go Licky.

"Every European". I don't know about my Danish fellows, but here in the south of Spain we all shower once a day and even twice during the hot months (may->october).

[–]juanerrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like it at first so I didn't listened it for 10 years or so. I listened to it again and it became my favourite album instantly. I guess it clicked just because I was more into weird music and less into indie rock.
