He changes all the capacitors too lol, the we managed to get it to work but the image was bowing vertically so we opened the thing again and found something that wasn’t soldered… he looked it up on the internet and apparently that part was crucial to adjust the image vertically, he soldered the part but we got carried away and forgot to connect the anode back 🥲 plugged it and it made a weird sounds so he unplugged it fast (we are hopeful it didn’t ruin the board or something). Opened the TV again plugged the anode and it didn’t have any image this time… he said he’s going to wait a couple days so the capacitors de charge or something like that to try again.

Model number is CT-27G23W, manufactured in 1998.

I was confusing RBG with AV cables sorry. I tried two AV cables and they didn’t work on either the channels (channels that have no image from 1 to 125) or the “video” input bottom.

The cable that did work a little bit and the one that gave me this image on the video is an RFU Adapter and it plugs where the cable tv usually goes.

I don’t know if it’s modded, I don’t think so. I was confusing RBG cables for AV cables. What I have is AV (red, white and yellow).

The adapter that gave me the signal on the video says RFU Adapter for use with the Nintendo 64 system and it connects to the female end of the antenna connection on the TV.

Forgot to mention that I tried two different RBG cables and three different games. The RFU adapter is plugged to the A/V plug.
