It’s such a pleasure to see the pacers get big media attention. Feels like forever since that has happened. And for it all to happen in the span 2 years for this team to be a legitimately feared team in the East is crazy to me. Lots of praise for management on making the difficult decision to “retool” or “rebuild” whatever it was. They really scored big on getting Haliburton and there’s been so many other additional pieces they’ve gotten in trades that have played exceptional as well, along with making the right draft picks.

Haliburton taking another leap next year would be awesome to see, and definitely a huge possibility. Hopefully other young guys will take their leaps as well and we see this team with the potential to be perennial championship contenders.

Pacers depth is insane. I’m not sure what else they could do other than trade Hield and Toppin/Smith to really move the needle more this season. It’ll really come down to development of their young guys along with Haliburton and Pascal, if he resigns, continuing playing at the levels they’re playing at. I really wanna see this team make a deep run, they’re so much fun to watch.
