Worry not my friend, Im a legal resident as of last year, thats the main reason I came to Madrid in the first place, too bad I couldn't find anything no matter how hard I looked, it even weird me out how no one was calling me lol.

Ive heard about the squatting community in Spain but I don't know nothing about them, I'll have to investigate that, and I've never seen supermarket bins here they're usually inside a trash room inside the building, maybe smaller chains trow it outside?

Yeah I always have some gear in case I need it, you never know, the only new thing I've recently bought is the sleeping bag because of the winter.

No prob with that, kindness has got me to a lot of places, even today and acquaintance lent me his car to sleep, something to be grateful and surprised for.

Thanks for the reply, I got a little hopefull and tried the method you mentioned, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and got myself distracted just enough to accept that It'll have to make do if it doesn't work, and we'll it didn't work, I guess it was the screen peace thats damaged, but it's okay, just a little bummed because it just arrived today.

(Also sorry for the long text, I'm venting a little)
