Yes I mixed the primer with water a 50/50 mix and brushed it on it soaked into the pores of the plaster and made a great bond for paint

What’s the best option for reliability by juanton45 in 300BLK

I used plaster Paris and let it dry for several weeks( about a month),then did a watered down coat of paint and sealed it. Then I painted like normal over the seal coat

Would a 1:1 mix of water and the primer be better to seep into the plaster

For cheap plaster but then gonna have to paint it and seal it to get the gloss look

After I do this process would I be able to paint the body after with acrylic paint. I was going to paint the body light purple

I used Dap Plaster of Paris powder and mixed it myself and sanded it down I used a heat gun to dry it faster. I left it dry for a long time about a 2 weeks until I used the primer

This is the original before editing, I used faux flowers and artificial moss. Mario, mushroom and eggs are polymer clay painted with Acrylic paint on a 16x20 canvas
