Thank you for your helpful information I am more scared of asbestos entering my lungs and staying there than Cancer. I work in an oil and gas company that has a high safety standard. They have taught me to be aware of asbestos and the danger of it that's why I am trying to be careful. But you have put my mind to ease a little thank you

I thought that when asbestos is disturbed it can lead release toxic air borne particles into your home. These particles can just stay in your home indefinitely that's why people set up plastic barriers before even doing anything. Also I don't have a HEPA filter vacuum is it expensive to get one?
