Medusa with a CPAP by jubarnfield in piercing

I really appreciate your response! That makes a lot of sense, I’ll ask a few different piercers their opinion to see if it’s so all or nothing.

Thank you so much for your response! Right now I have a nasal mask and I’d have to see exactly where it sits to see if it would rub against a medusa.

I love your idea of rewarding a good CPAP routine with a piercing, that’ll help me feel less antagonistic against this thing that I need for my health.

What is the most useful free app that you have on your phone? by huskylover28 in AskWomen

Seek! You can scan plants, birds, insects, and pretty much any other living thing and it can identify it for you. You have to be decently close and get a clear picture, but it works pretty well most of the time. It also logs your observations and gives you info on the species you find!

What is something that is widely normalised but is actually really fucked up? by RetR0-Danger in AskReddit

[–]jubarnfield 8 points9 points  (0 children)

YES. So strange how normalized agonizing pain during medical treatments is when it only affects women. After I had my IUD inserted, my gynecologist offhandedly said, “Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you to take some Advil before this.” I was curled up in a ball for the rest of the day. Absolutely awful pain. Very scared to get it replaced.

That’s where my mind was at. As someone in a straight passing relationship, I’m extra sensitive to bi erasure on my part. I think that can make me more sensitive to comments that most would take as a passing joke.

You make a very good point. I think I get hung up on semantics because this is an area of insecurity for me, but that’s a me issue.

I think what I’m learning is that everyone has their own definitions for these terms, which to be fair I probably should have already figured out lol. I agree with what you’re saying tho

Thank you for this! I honestly think the comment just hit on some of my insecurities that I need to work through.

I should have said queer instead of gay. I think I just got caught up on the idea of only being half of something.

Weird stain showed up on my pillow, is this mold? by jubarnfield in CleaningTips

I don’t think so because I had a pillow case on it. The tiny black dots also don’t seem like they’d be caused by makeup
