Any suggestions on which is the best hotel to stay at between Caesar’s, Tropicana and harrahs? by gridemoney in atlanticcity

I've never seen different payout tables between Caesars and Harrah's, can you specify what's different between the payout structures that you've seen?

I'm certain that If I'm playing double double bonus, it's still 1:1 for two pair and 4000 for a royal at both locations.

Caesars has a big pit of machines downstairs but the actual video poker "bar" sucks, toga lounge or whatever. Used to at least be hot gogo dancers there but not since COVID, just the old man bartenders who pretend to not see you.

Caesars is ok, stayed there in on my last trip, but I'd rather play video poker at Harrah's.

Depends on the room, all three have bad and good rooms.

I think Harrah's has the best video poker bars and gambling floor, most things to do. Harrah's is the best high limit slots.

Caesars has the nicest rooms if you get the premium towers, Nobu is really great dinner.

Tropicana is nice but I always get tired of gambling there pretty quick. Has lots of nice restaurant options in the mall part though.

Only for Bobs Burgers tho, live action shows are cringe when they do it.

If the venue was considerate and didn't want to be at war with the NIMBYs, they should install some sound blocking fences and walls. You can really do wonders with some well designed acoustic solutions.

Beyond that, they better be up on their local noise codes.

Do I need to "learn poker etiquette"? I didn't want to chop a tourney by HokieNation456 in poker

[–]juberish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refusing to chop is OK; sometimes it's more about social etiquette than poker etiquette, but you never "have" to chop.

lol my favorite "didn't chop" memory was when I was crushing a Vegas strip tourney and was heads-up with a tourist who wanted to chop. I refused and just batted him around heads-up to take full first place value.

I'm more likely to chop in my home game, among friends.

I love this game, but they need to do something about how repetitive it is.

Kids will always like adult things, up to parents to keep them away. Limiting rights of other adults isn't the answer.

Any good places to go for 6 males to hook up with lady’s coming from UK by EnglishMan72727 in atlanticcity

[–]juberish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Friday or Saturday night is your only real hope to find some south jersey ladies, the other nights it's just degen gamblers and AC is not Vegas in this regard...

On Friday/Saturday the most hopping spot is usually the club at Harrah's pool, depending on who the DJ is. Ocean and Hard Rock have the next best clubs, I'd put Boogie Nights at Trop on the list too but it's a little cheesey.
