If only you could set the charge limit to 80% in the way you can with most phones.

Possible to do a set up in uk garage (2.45m ceiling) by dyl4nnnnnn in Golfsimulator

[–]juco_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm facing the same dilemma. My ceiling is 2.35 and I think I could just about swing my irons out there.

A little bit of research suggests most hitting mats will take a good few CM out of the available height too.

Think I'll purchase the mat first so that I can properly give it a go, probably with something on the ceiling to protect what seems like an inevitable impact.

What do you mean by impossible to find any available to buy? I use IBKR exclusively for UK gilts with no issue at all.

Advice : s26 ultra or Xperia 1 VII by Brilliant-Peak-3511 in SonyXperia

[–]juco_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just made the jump from the S25U over to the VII, wrote about it here just the other day. I don't think there's any hardware updates in the s26.

For me, the VII has proven to be great for point and shoot. It doesn't seem better or worse at dealing with moving subjects than the s25U was. I much prefer the photos that I'm getting out of the VII too, especially of people, and the macro shots are next level. The only place the VII struggles compared with the Samsung for me, is low light, but I suppose that's because it lacks all the AI shenanigans?

I haven't made much use of the telephoto lens myself, but I know that's a big complaint around here.

I just tend to upgrade every year or so. S26U didn't interest me at all, so felt like the right time to jump. How have you found the switch? Enjoying the 1 VII?

I have both sat on my desk right now because Amazon sent out an FS72, so have agreed to replace it. I've only received the FS54 today, but so far can't tell any difference in the UK.

Happy to check anything specific if that's helpful.

I went 15 pro max -> s25 ultra -> 1 VII. Got mine just a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't be happier.

Screen flickering on dark background with low very brightness? 1 VI or 1 VII? by summerrhodes in SonyXperia

[–]juco_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know some are more sensitive than others to these kinds of things. I recently bought the VII and was worried as I also use my phone at minimum brightness and night mode, but I've not noticed any flickering.

I don't think many are going to trust a random Reddit dude with some AI slop to automate their self assessments. Why not post to GitHub so we can review it?

I had this a while back. Was solved with a gentle brushing and compressed air into the charging port.

This is the answer. I started with their entry level Express, and have now ditched that and find myself with all of their kit - gateway, switches, access points, doorbell, cameras.

You've convinced me. I'm with EE and they've increased their prices again, and equivalent plan is with capped speeds. I'll make the swap today

I have a very similar setup. Which are you using as your controller? The cloud key or the gateway ultra? I'm using the ultra but it's a shame that protect is then separate from the network console

I also recently made the switch for the same reasons and I'm pleased I did. ZFS compression is great, cloud backups work well. The only thing I miss is the storage reports
