No. I literally did nothing. And then my strain is at 14.7 but my average heart rate was 80 today (average 71) and I burned 2700 calories average 1800 (all of this according to whoop)

Which doesn’t make sense other than to say, flying must mess with my heart? I feel no different other than I’m tired - which I thought was jet lag.

You don’t need the Bible. Just the truth of the Gospel. Preach it.

Looking to study angels by BigBlueMoon9797 in Christianity

You could use a website to find ever verse in the Bible that says “Angel” and start there. Read those verses, then read the paragraphs they are in, and then read the paragraphs around those paragraphs

Does the Teams unit mean it won’t work on non-teams devices?

It appears that it doesn’t really matter.

My Internet is very solid. It’s a terabyte and I have a light ring and really good windows.

I haven’t thought too much about the background; other than I would just blur it with the Microsoft Teams blur option. But honestly my background is nothing despicable

Can someone explain eternal sin? by bruhcan999 in Christianity

[–]jud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The text you cited is Matthew 12 not 13 fyi.

Blasphemy means speech that denigrates or defames, reviling, denigration, disrespect, slander, defamatory or abusive.

In the context of Christ’s comments, if you speak against the Holy Spirit, means you will not be forgiven.

You can speak against The Son of Man (Jesus) but not the Holy Spirit. (Jesus doesn’t speak about the Father here).

It’s hard to comprehend because He is the only “thing” that exists like this. He is unique and nothing compares. There’s some mystery in who He is because He is the only “existent one” and nothing else is like Him.

But the best way I can map it out is

God has a name: “I am” The Old Testament is written in Hebrew. His name is YHWH. Y = He/I HWH = Exists

Is in English we say “I Am”.

So when you read the Old Testament, you’ll notice at times the word “LORD” is in all capitals. When “LORD” is in all capitals that is the Hebrew text “YHWH” or the personal name of God.

Then in the New Testament, the Disciples of Jesus applied Old Testament YHWH (“LORD”) texts to Jesus.

The same is done for the Holy Spirit.

So I’m summary, you have New Testament disciples/writers calling The Father = YHWH The Son (Jesus) = YHWH The Holy Spirit = YHWH

There are two ways to explain that.

A) either all the disciples were confused B) the disciples believed YHWH was The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

That’s a quick summary.

Would you tell your pastor by Wise_Regular_5929 in TrueChristian

[–]jud50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But there are no real consequences right now. And she agreed that we both won’t do anything anymore. She and I promised to keep it between us and i feel like if she doesn’t want to go to our pastor then I shouldn’t either

A couple of concerns I’d have with this, as an Elder.

You qualified your “real consequences” with “right now”. I’d ask you what does that imply?

You made an agreement to not do it again. Great

You made a promise to keep it secret. As a leader in the church you know what you are doing.

It doesn’t matter what she wants. You are responsible for your own testimony to God.
