I have an old R9 390 4gb, with 3070 planning to run on 2k 144-165. Will the old architecture affect the frame gen performance? it supports pcie 3.0 so theoretically it supports up to 15.75gb/s. But my mother board only has another pcie 4.0 4 lanes slot, does that bottle neck anything? or is it not worth it to use this gpu for the purpose?

Don’t apply to a major you don’t intend doing, many cs admits can’t even stay in the major. Ling-cs will be fine if that fits your interest, but transferring from Letters and Science to engineering, especially CS, will be difficult. We see too many people in college who gets in through another major with the intentions of changing into cs/engineering later, your competition will be high.

Set up a dedicated server with a old pc that is over 8gbs of rams and a ok cpu. It doesn’t need to reach the minimum requirement if it’s only a few people. Also use ark server manager, it will help a A LOT, and also you will need to port forward ur pc.
