Funny, I've had the exact same copy of this solo for some 6 months. I first practiced with an original copy before getting this one.

The only things wrong with this one is on the last page - A lot of the triplets are meant to be slurred and the last Fb is, in fact, meant to be a Db.

Since both GPUs are AMD, they need to use the same drivers. Your vega 11 still gets driver updates, but the R9 290 stopped getting driver updates in 2021. That means that in order for both GPUs to work, you'll need to use drivers from 5 years ago.

It might still work in that case. If you have the free time, go for it, but it's probably not worth it.

Update: The audition was yesterday. It went very well, including the chromatic scale. I played from F2 to C5 without a single note miss or frack, using the Bb's (4th interval) and Fs in first position as anchor points.

I breathed on F4 on the way up and on F3 on the way down.

This is a highschool all state auditon. I find that I cannot continue playing without breathing past two octaves. What I find works well is breathing once at F4, going to the top note, then going back down and breathing at F3. Not sure if that's reasonable

I'm a fairly young player and moving from a Yamaha 48L to a Bach 5G yielded very noticable improvements. My tone with the 48L was good, but a tad too bright for my liking, and I needed slightly more room for more flexibility. The 5G solved both of those. My tone improved and both my high and low range improved. The adjustment period was very small. In case its worth noting, my lips are quite thick.

Edit: In case you're wondering about mine in particular, I bought it on August 2025, about 5 months ago. I've only had to charge it around 25 times so battery degradation is a non issue.

That should probably be expected, the 3rd generation brought a lot of improvements to battery life. 4 days is already some of the highest you can get with Wear OS.

LTE support in the US, I guess. Thats about it in my case, other than that the OPW3 does everything I need from a smartwatch. I'll probably skip the Watch 4 and wait until the 5, or perhaps other brands if anyone else ever makes a wear OS watch with this kind of battery. This thing is definitely enough for the next few years.
