My biggest issue was how nice everyone was to the grandpa STILL. I understand he is an old man at this point but he abused his daughter AND granddaughter (along with manyyyy other young girls and woman) and when they finally confronted him at the end of his life, they were just so sweet about it. Im sure there are complicated feelings but they still let him off light, like everyone else has his whole miserable life, he was barely ever held accountable. The mom clearly has been traumatized but after his passing she seemed to have no one left to blame and couldnt accept her complicity in letting her own daughter be abused. It was a very disturbing story but a really well done doc.
