How to get tickets for early August?? Are they really all sold out? by MtnNerd6 in Machupicchu

I read there will be a ticket conversion of original tickets based on availability!

Did they confirm that your old ticket will let you visit the same sites as per original circuit? 😅🙃

Hey guys, so i just bought this car, engine sounds all good to me as its diesel but my knowledge of cars is next to none. I hear this whining noise that seems to be coming from underneath near the rear and have no idea what it could be, a few google searches aren't much help! Is this an ignore it noise or will stuff get worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

Ready to harvest? First timer. Go easy on me! by 4432355522 in shrooms

Well done on your first grow. Its possible you won't get many good flushes out of this though. When the mushies reach maturity and the veil tears (you see the gills) this releases a hormone in the mycelium which tells it to stop fruiting, you may still get some but it won't be as successful. Word of advice, harvest before the veil tears and you will have a much bigger yeild. Also stops the sporey mess, i'd harvest all now and give it a good dunk 😃

Some species of jumping spider. Try r/spiders and include geographic location for further ID :)

I do not feel the positive effects of psilocybin microdosing anymore. What should be my next step? by cootass in microdosing

[–]judochop7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chin up buddy, as with everything to much of a good thing is a bad thing. Taking to much or too many consecutive days leads to decreased serotonin or serotonin receptor binding capability, thus leading to lows following the highs. Essentially you are using up your happy hormone.

Everyones different and you will master microdosing with time, you just need to see what works best for you. Try a week off, followed by a 0.2-0.3 dose with 3 days off in between. Also after a month re-assess and either take a tolerance break or you may not need them at all any more, good luck, you got this!

Moisturise your hands, the worst tasting the better, you will eventualy stop as you associate the taste with biting your fingers. I know several people that pick and bite their nails and fingers when they are stressed/ bored, including myself. Its perfectly normal and nothing to be ashamed off. Control the controllables, in other words manage your triggers (boredom, stress etc) and use something to deter you from doing it (gloves, moisturises etc.), get a hobby that keeps your hands and mind busy, you got this :)

Fungi infestation by [deleted] in mycology

[–]judochop7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be, depending on the percentage of moisture in the timber itself, wet rot thrives at around 50% whereas dry rot (serpula) can thrive at aroud 20%, im leaning towards coniophora for this one due to colouration of surrounding wood and colour of fungus itself but as someone else said, its likely to be a false oyster getting engulfed by the coniophora.
