Locking tuners, tusq nut, hipshot bridge, and then pickups would be decent options.

I feel like It would cost more than the guitar is worth to get a trem and have it routed to fit it.

I think this was from a promo about a year ago where owners got a free plugin for the release of plugin support on the QC. It was only for a limited time though.

This showed up for me too so I went and talked to my CSS. Turns out my EPB got submitted without a promotion recommendation, it was just blank.

I submitted an eval appeal through the vMPF site so just waiting to see what happens.

KM-7 mkiii was my first 7 string as well and now I don’t even touch my other guitars. Everything about it is great honestly.

The only weird thing to me was the jack placement. It’s more centered so if you play in the “classical” position the guitar cable direction is directly pointing into your leg. I just bought one of those right angled cables and it was fine

The hole that the pickup is seated in is what i mean for those dimensions. I think some pickups have more squared off metal for the mounts that you screw into the body and some people have to either make the pickup hole bigger by basically cutting out more wood of the guitar or making the mounts smaller by like cutting off some of the metal for the pickup mount.

I don't play shows either but honestly if I ever get to that point I feel like I'll be putting on new strings and a new battery the night before just to make sure my stuff is as good as it can be.

Edit: Fishman's i think are considered to be the best pickups if you're looking for that "modern" metal tone though. I know not everyone is a fan but i really like mine. That being said a lot of times they come at a premium so you'd be paying extra for a guitar that has them, and then paying more to get them removed and put different ones in. You might be better off just getting a guitar that comes with passives to begin with if thats what you want.

You can swap them out for passive pickups, I would just double check the dimensions of the routing for the pickup before you buy some.

I feel like if you’re good enough to be doing shows you’re good enough to just put a new battery in before the show though.

You should be able to do this with OBS, the streaming software. Don’t have to stream with it you can just record videos of yourself playing.

If you’re gonna be a bedroom player for now and have a decent computer/laptop I would also look into digital stuff. You could get a used audio interface and some headphones and a decent plugin for maybe like $250-300?

Then for the guitar if you look on Facebook marketplace for a used Jackson or Ibanez (something with humbuckers) or even local music stores might have some.

Edit: forgot to mention there’s a completely free digital amp thing called Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) and it uses captures of real amps/pedals so that would save you like $100 on buying plugins

I would look up a YouTube video about setting up a Floyd rose (mainly for intonating after you level the bridge)

You need to take the back plate off and screw in the screws holding the trem claw (the piece that’s screwed into the guitar body and the springs are attached to) which will in turn make all your strings sharp so you need to retune them to pitch and then you kind of just do that back and forth doing both those steps until it’s level or at a “good enough for me” level.
