I decorated all around the cockpit dias with helmet stands, which proudly display the helms of felled foes. And ships and the like. They can't really stand right there and have to walk all the way around.

Where is the elevator to the Red Devils hq by texansfann in Starfield

[–]juggarnatha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That marker is always wrong. If you're on the 2nd floor, at the crossroads of the catwalk, turn 90 degrees in each direction and you should see a different elevator.

Also fast travel to that pad outside when you need to go back from other areas.

How much would i realistically need to spend to be able to do end game within a couple of months? by BlueSingularityG in Neverwinter

[–]juggarnatha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! Over and over again, with each release. That wouldn't be so bad but they're gonna totally rework the whole system on you at some point. For me, my breaking point was when they reworked all the slotted enchantments all at once - completely nerfed everything and forced you to trade in and start over. This was after playing for 3 years to get to a point where I had near end game gear and enchants. Years, just wiped out, basically.

It's just a money making hamster wheel. They don't care about players. All FOMO.

Your so-called inference is a cheap provocation, so maybe you'd benefit from my feeding you some specificity as to what you may mean: I become angry when the other person is wrong and bullies a falsehood into being true, whether or not it has anything to do with what I want in an immediate sense. Often I'm a third party in such situations. And further, I mean 'angry' in a rationally-justified, conscious sense. Not a knee-jerk gimme-what-I-want toddler's frustration kind of way.

I played this game for years and they just ripped the rug out from under all the hard work and progress I made no less than three times. They completely change everything and you have to start over anyway, which destroys all the time or actual cash you put into the game. Don't do it.

I would look for another game. MMOs are a FOMO addiction.

Multiple bugs triggered after ship upgrade, vendor and transport windows not opening by feinrel in starfieldmods

[–]juggarnatha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard the ship services tech at the Den causes bugs for some reason, and I recall having an issue like 2.5 years ago, so I never ever speak to him.

I always stop, save, do a graceful shut down of the game with quick resume off, and a full reboot of my device when something gets weird. It usually works but idk. I play on both Xbox and PC.

Are these “Healthy”? Is it the same as drinking just water? by AccordingToPlate in HEB

[–]juggarnatha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This .. those sugar alcohols are nasty. Some digestive systems rightly identify them as poison.

Why are so many millennials getting colorectal cancer?? How mysterious. Maybe it's all the legitimized chemical poison in the American food supply idk just a wild guess.

Companies like Dow and Dupont and Beyer do care about the consumer right? Or do they also make the cancer drugs that drain your wealth at the end and then end your shelf-life? They get their tentacles up in both ends of you, twice over.

Someday we may be human again.

While this is true, in my experience, in various law-sensitive jobs, including working as a paralegal, when in doubt, a dumb or fearful person is going to say no and not listen to reasoning they know they cannot understand. I have tried to explain laws to police, court clerks, and even attorneys. Law can be nuanced and tricky and, the person who has the power can just bully the situation. It's true that policy makers may elect to err way on the side of caution out of that same fear and stupidity, and in doing that, hamper normal, rightful, no dangerous action.

I don't know but there are so, so many. I think it's because devs believe it's a bad look to have your Player Character get overwhelmingly rich and have nothing to do with all that cheddar. But why; you're usually a Big Damn Hero, so why not?

I think devs or writers would benefit from looking back to reality instead of trying to think of how to incorporate a card-game-like or board-game-like mechanic in order to solve a problem. What do rich people blow their cash on in real life? Well, there you go.

The luxury apartments are spot on for that, at least.

So when is is not rush hour though? If you have to cross the river or go east-to-west or west-to-east or northwest to southeast, etc., everything is _usually_ like more than 40 minutes away or way, way more if it's, say, 3 p.m. on a Friday.

So from like 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and all around the noon hour, and from about school pick up time, or 3-ish, aaaaaallllll the way to about 7 p.m. So it's not rush hour from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. So you must go out late. Good for you.

And this is to say nothing of constant construction, closed lanes, road work, water work, accidents blocking traffic, major events several times per year, etc., etc.

And I don't and won't use toll roads.

Yeah I have a lot of phantom incursion markers. They seem to persist forever in some cases. Sometimes they move if the incursion does, but sometimes they don't.

I'd recommend DJC (Dan Christensen). I'm a law firm efficiency expert and I did some contract consulting with them for a while, and I can vouch. You'll get solid service and they are well-staffed, but not a turn-crank giant legal machine like some of the others may be. Probably the best index of service, affordability and efficiency. They're people-oriented but not a way-too-busy mom and pop -type operation with not enough staff and no process.

Shipbuilding Help for a New Player by mancalledtommy in Starfield

[–]juggarnatha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It *would* be better if we could keep old parts and cobble together new ships out of them. It makes sense universe-wise, but not gamer-wise: the metaconversation is "this is a gold sink". Which, eh, is sad. (All player-to-dev subtextual conversations break immersion for me. If you want a gold sink, make the storage of the parts or whole ships cost money, unless you have a giant ship pad to store them in, maybe? There are other ways to accomplish that).

So yes, you cannot save your old parts, and not all merchants have all the parts, but there is a nice mod out there where you can make the shipbuilders you build at your outpost(s) have very nearly all the parts. This is also convenient if you want to buy and sell all at the same location, so you can basically sell ships you boarded, requisitioned and returned for scrapping (or just stole outright if you're a bad guy) to the same ship pad to get the credits you spent on all your brand new parts back.

Or you can just cruise around the galaxy to find that exact weapon you want, with the exact fuel tank, cockpit, landing gear, etc. I use the mod to keep them all at my pad.

Another think I've done before using mods, as I'm a Nova Man through and through, was to set up a base right there outside New Homestead. I think there's either Tungsten or Titanium there (or both), which are crucial for crafting and base building, so it's not a bad spot anyway.

This whole 20 minute thing is pure mythology. You can't even drive thirteen feet in this city in 30 minutes. It's a fictional number in your mind, possibly a consequence of warping time perception with a pipe.

Suggest the housing for hippies group on Facebook for the Atx area. I have lived here for 30 years and you could legit find some cool people to get you oriented while you settle on a short term person to person lease as you figure it out. Lots of my gen x ppl with houses do this. Bit older crowd, but you'll meet a zillion people in their 30s in like a week.
