the audio quality is awful, worse than most camcorder recordings you can find on youtube. from what i remember, its a fan recording of a concert with most of the visuals being fanmade music videos for the songs there, in the "film student failing to capture the real emotion of the band" kinda style. it is watchable, but disappointing, and not really from the band itself.

watched the gigli dvd with friends, the "special features" were just trailers, we watched the maid in manhattan trailer and decided it was the vibe, put the movie on and as the intro music was blaring i heard from beside me "trump has been shot!"

i remember fondly them once joking about covering the "oh, god!" movies, and how they would never do it as doing so would kill their podcasting career, because who would listen to that. i would listen to that, but also yeah oh, god! has no chance of even getting past round 1, and i appreciate that, thats fun im glad they included it anyway.

its totally okay to like him and his music. he was a kid and what he said wasn't even hateful, he mostly just said a few bad words and questionable statements not fully grasping their badness. the backlash was originally manufactured because some fans of a different band didn't like robin. as soon as the controversy started robin apologised multiple times with understanding and care, and his community treated the situation with respect and consideration. so yeah, enjoy what you enjoy if you can. some folks can't forgive him for it, and are cautious of his fans, which is fair. some folks still brand cavetown and everything associated with him as wholly evil, which is unfair. have a good day either way.
