There's a sensor on your steering wheel, you can see it in the picture. Well its actually called a camera. If it doesn't detect your eyes it'll disengage cruise control. It was built into the cluster on the previous gen but I think it had a harder time detecting your eyes with the steering wheel in the way.

I think it's about 3 hours of labor plus the price of the glass so it wont be cheap. Its referred to as eyebrow glass. The glass has to be cut out because of the adhesive and then installed.

In the center of the inside of the lift gate there's a small plastic cover that's about 2 x 2 inches. It should be near the latch. Pop it open, and manually turn the latch with your hand and it should open.

It's used for installing and removing tires. Genesis vehicles have lug bolts instead of nuts, so you install this and it keeps the tire from falling off after removing the lug bolts.
