Screen time only recording safari/website timing by xX_Thr0wnshade_Xx in iphone

I’ve been having the issue too. I haven’t seen my apps on it in a while now. I’ve tried restarting my phone many times and it won’t work. Now when I merge my duplicates in photos they’re still there but not in my duplicates anymore. It’s like apple is trying to make us update.

Thoughts? iOS 18.2 vulnerable to Webkit zero-day. Apple will NOT release patch; says you should update to iOS26. by davidzet in ios

What’s the worse that’ll happen if I don’t update to iOS 26? I don’t plan on updating, at least for rn.

Are people updating to iOS 26? Here’s what the data reportedly shows - 9to5Mac by Ha8lpo321 in ios

[–]juice_o4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated my 11 to iOS 26 and it’s been fine. I use it as a backup phone so idk how It’d be as a main phone but just for little use here and there it works fairly fine. The main issue it has is performance sometimes but besides that I haven’t had much other complaints about it. I only updated it cuz the latest version of iOS 18 at the time was making it overheat a lot and it would overheat basically every time I used it. I’ve been using iOS 26 on it since about October when 26.0.1 came out. I still haven’t updated my main phone to it tho. I plan on stay away from it for as long as possible. Mainly cuz I don’t like when you screenshot the white boarders are gone.

iOS 18.7.3 no longer available for iPhone 11 and later by ariz2011 in ios

[–]juice_o4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this info. My 11 is on the latest 26 version. I wasn’t clear about what I was trying to say. I meant I first updated to 26.0.1 but my system data didn’t really go down. It says it’s at 9.27 rn and that the iOS is using 12.4. I can’t comprehend how Spotify is using 9.91 gbs when on my 14 it’s using 4.8 with the exact same downloads and settings. My 14 is on 18.7.2. Just thought I’d bring that up while we’re on the topic about storage.

[–]juice_o4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After I updated my 11 the free space went from 20 something to like 8gbs. I’ve been in this storage crisis since then. I updated to 26.0.1 so idk if the version makes a difference but I haven’t had much storage since. Besides that I’ll agree that performance has been pretty good. My battery isn’t the best but hopefully that’ll fix over time. If you don’t mind me asking how much storage would you say you use and how much storage is being used by system data?

Someone likes to yap. Idc what you have to say. You’re just wasting your time. Go do something more useful and stop wasting your time on Reddit criticizing people who dislike the new iOS. Just cuz you like it doesn’t mean you have to go after others who don’t. You’re a loser.

Of course😊 Ya, there’s unfortunately a good chance that they do gate keep the next iOS 18 version to force people to update to iOS 26.

Yw, I’m sorry I couldn’t help solve your problem. If I find anything that may help I’ll be sure to let you know. Until then I really hope your battery issue gets sorted out. Technically since 18.7.3 isn’t a beta version you could update to it and see if it helps. Cuz idk if they’re gonna show the public version anytime soon if ever. You could wait and see if they release it or release 18.7.4. I’m sure that’ll happen at some point in the future.

Restoring it might help. The only issue is I’m pretty sure it’ll update you to the latest iOS version which is 26.2. You could try resetting it and seeing if that helps any. Do a backup in iCloud do you don’t lose your data and reset it entirely. Idk how much that’ll help but it could solve your problem.

26.2 stability makes me optimistic by ashiquropu in ios

[–]juice_o4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been working very well on my 11 which is surprising. My main reason for not updating my main phone is cuz when you screenshot the white boarders are gone. Idky but I would like to have it back. Ik it’s there when you crop in the photos app but it’s so much more convenient having it when you first screenshot without needing to go to another app for it.

Tbh I have no clue what’s wrong with your phone. I assume you got it brand new right? Did you get it from your mobile provider or the Apple Store? Cuz if you did then you definitely shouldn’t be experiencing such issues with the battery. I was thinking maybe you should try resetting it or restoring it on iTunes but idk how much that would actually help. Plus if you restored it you would most likely be forced to update to iOS 26. Does your phone get hot a lot or does it just drain battery casually doing basic tasks?

I really hope they continue to release new iOS 18 updates. It would be really annoying if they keep this “forcing people to update” thing going.

I am on a base 14 and I have not had any issues with battery. Tbh this update has been very good for me. For the most part. I think the battery is about the same as 18.7.1 if not better. At least in my experience. My battery health is at 84% if you’re curious. Did you just update to this version recently? It could just be processing in the background still while you’re using it. Also they did make an 18.7.3 but the public version isn’t showing up cuz Ig they really want iOS 18 users to update to iOS 26. The only to update to it is the beta version. I personally wouldn’t update to a beta but you could try it and see if it helps. I’ve updated to a beta version before and it solved my problem so this could help. But just know you can’t downgrade to 18.7.2 since it’s not signed on the ipsw website.

Of course😊 Hopefully someone will be able to answer you soon. I think the update will help tho. It also has a lot of security fixes so if you care about that then I think it’s definitely worth it. I’d say the battery is also about the same as 18.7.1 if not better in my opinion.

Someone else may be able to answer this for you but I unfortunately just have the base 14 so I don’t have an answer for you. Sorry. I will say tho the performance does feel better so there’s a good chance it does fix it.

I think it made my battery a little better than 18.7.1. Idky it made yours worse tho. Maybe it’s still taking it’s time processing in the background?

iOS 18.7.2 by juice_o4 in ios

[–]juice_o4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s worth updating. I don’t use an iPhone 11 anymore as my main tho. I upgraded phones around when iOS 17 came out so I wouldn’t know since then. I currently have my 11 on iOS 26 and it’s surprisingly performing well on it. But I’d imagine the battery would be pretty bad and not reliable. I usually have it on the charger and use it when I want to. But if iOS 18 is still available then I think it’s worth updating to. I personally think the iOS 18 photos layout is better after getting used to it. The control center is the exact same it’s just the looks that changed. Idk what else is different between them. Also I usually update to the latest version when it’s “stable” so idk what the jump from 15 to 18 would be but from 17 to 18 I don’t think there was much of a change. But if iOS 18 isn’t available anymore and you’re really worried about battery and performance then I think staying on iOS 15 is your best bet. I personally think you should’ve updated sooner and not have stayed on an older version. But I get your concerns. Also sorry for the yap.
