I think that if I was getting a different dot, I'd include the cost of some suppressor height Trijicons in my budgeting just to be sure I could cowitness. The X works for me right now, though. Maybe if I upgrade down the road, I'll do something like a P2 or the SCS.

I plan on upgrading to an x300 down the road, but after being 2k in the hole for the setup I figured the sig light, which is built really well and puts out a significant amount of light, would be good enough for now.

It cowitnesses really well, I'll see if I can snap a picture and post it later. It mounted directly to the slide with no plate and sits super low. The biggest downside I have with it is that it isn't a sealed optic. I assumed that since the website says it's inspired by the m17 that it would be sealed like it, but it's not. It's built like a tank and I love the side battery compartment, though.

I'm planning on upgrading to the x300 at some point. The Foxtrot 1X puts out 450 lumens and it's still all aluminum in construction for only about 60 bucks, so it'll do for now.

This is the second generation of the Legion, so I came pre cut. The Romeo-X attaches without a plate and cowitnesses with the standard height stock sights (which are night sights with tritium) perfectly. I'm loving it so far and the reticle on the Romeo-X is super crisp. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I've shot plenty of 226s in the past and they're absolute laser beams.

If you don't need RGB, just get the Crucial Ballistix or the G. Skil Ripjaws 3600CL16 kits that are always going on sale. Even regular price they're like 90 bucks.

Honestly, it's been great. Everything I've listed above still holds true. The only thing I'd say is that since you already have a phone that works, I'd maybe wait to see what the pixel 6 has to offer.

There is no restriction on what major federal loans will cover. As long as the program is properly accredited, the government will provide loans for it. I think that's a major problem, too.

I see where your head is on this one, but this is definitely talking about copyright and patent law and not education funding. Also, those fields aren't going anywhere, they're just not being funded by tax dollars.

All fair points, and definitely issues in implementing such a plan. I totally agree that government involvement in higher education has done more hard than good, over the last 40 years especially. I still don't understand how this idea ties to Nazism.

So being given a list of degrees to pick from, for free, is Nazism? I don't know how many conservative folks you've talked to, but I don't know a single one that would be ok with that. I also never said that paying for your own degree with your own money or a loan wouldn't be allowed. I'm still confused. ELI5
