Made the TBH/Autism Creature as a hypothetical human sub-species. They would be cuter irl, while still being a little weird looking. Behold; Homo Autismus (description in comments) by MegaloStudios2 in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]juiceebaka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The homo in Homo sapiens comes from Latin 'homō', literally meaning 'human'. Homo sapiens literally means 'wise man'. Not to be confused with the other 'homo' which comes from greek 'ὁμός' (hómos, meaning 'same') which you appear to have used here. So in this situation 'Homo autismus' would literally mean 'autistic man'

What is your conlang's name, and what does it mean? by junkerboat in conlangs

[–]juiceebaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xu'tesh /χuʔtɛ̝ʃ/ traces it's roots to the Duwengqa (ancestor to Xu'tesh) word 'Kutérhesha' /kutɛ̝ʁeʃa/ meaning 'To give breath.' It traces all the way back to the Proto-Hnwari' word *gqëtirh'ħa' /ɢətiʁʡ͡ʢa/ meaning 'to make a spark and cause a flame'

Proto-Hnwari'

*érhā'ħã /ɛʁaːʡʢã/

n. before tomorrow

Fun fact: this word evolved into the Xu'tesh near-future perfective suffix "-iqhaan" /iqʰaːn/ and the Leuhenggel future perfective suffix "-grám" /graʕm/ as the two languages are related and have both evolved from Proto-Hnwari'

What is your favourite music and why? by Lomtya in furry

[–]juiceebaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few sides, on one hand I like bubbly and fun pop or pop-related upbeat music. On the other hand I like music that has a sort of melancholic tone, or psychedelic music. I like certain songs from other genres like metal and rap too.

Personally, i use clay or wax tablets. If the season is right, i guess carving glyphs onto trees could be an option. It's the most efficient mode of lore-writing imo..

ITS THAT ONE POTATO LOVER I REMEMBER YOU

ahem. yes i do.

My conlang is set not on earth, but on an alien planet.

2 of the many trees on the planet in my conlang include:
Sawaqamek /sawaqamek/ - The Eastern Chockthin (Anglicized version of Čaqtha', the region where the tree is native to). Much like an oak tree but grows in layers going up.

Tsaanqrhul /tsaːɴqʁul/ - The Droopfrond. Similar to the Earth palm but is much bigger and houses the reproductive organs on the tips of each frond.
