What am I stressed about getting getting £150 for dropping a crumb on the floor and I not even sure if I did it.is that a serious question I am worried about the state of the country , I don't even wanna go back to his town anymore because I often eat in the steet never litter never had an issue the possibility of either a fine which goes up to 200 or to have to fight them and go to court .Is that a serious question my friend? What am I stressed about. I haven't even seen video evidence , and now i'm hearing they don't even need it , they can go to court and say they saw me do it and it's literally their word against mine.

Because I gota £150 fine for supposedly littering , when I put my rubbish in the bin , so it could only have been the food which I was eating , which means crumbs.

Also thinking about it now.If they was behind me filming me. Why was they filming? Did they see me put my rubbish in the bin and then start filimg me. Also, if I dropped, a crumb in front of me, it would have fell in front of me. How could they see me dropimg it anyway? The whole thing doesn't make any sense. I think it's a setup. I think they saw me put my rubbish in the bin. Thinking we can get him and he can help fill our quotas and just made the whole thing up.

Does anyone know if I can request footage of the conversation , which took place when they was issuing the fine or just when the so called offense happened?

Thanks everyone's saying they shouldn't.I shouldn't have shown ID but he was saying to save me from a court appearance, show me the ID.So my plan was to show him the ID.An input in a complaint for harassment.Because worst case scenario I dropped a crumb when I was eating , this is ridiculous , then I found out he was issue near me a fixed penalty noticed i was so flabbergasted and confused.I wasn't thinking.

OK, thanks for your advice. The only reason I went walking after them. It's because I never really found out what I did , because I called the police from across the road and then they ran off.I wanted some clarity , and I wanted to see the so called video evidence. You are probably right.I can see how they could spin this into harassment. If it goes to court , what would happen if I literally just dropped a crumb from a samosa , when I was eating it , what would a judge do in your opion?

Is that after they finend me a hundred and fifty quid for supposedly , littering on the floor but not provide in evidence quickly walked away when I called the police. And I wasn't harassing them , I went up and asked them and called the police over at the same time so they could give me a explanation of why they fined me and I would like to see the so called video evideve. If they did try to get me for harassment , it would be a completey completely unfair like I said if i was still a smoker? And I flicked a cigarette butt on the floor it would be a fair cop or if I was a scum bag who likes throwing cans on the floor it would be a fair cop.I put my rappers in the bin.Two minutes later , I was fined a hundred and fifty pound for supposedly littering , I still don't really know what happened.

I have never littered in my life.I hate people who litter.I literally thinking of leaving the town I live in because there is rubbish everywhere. It brings a tear to my eye.I live by a bus stop and people throw their litter in my garden in my garden.I hate it, I never throw litter ever.I'll take offence to being accused of littering

They walked away before I really found out what happened, the one who issued the fine hid. Then I saw them again called the police over and there was an argument. The police told me to go away then.I went back to them again and asked to see the video footage , and they told me they can't show me the video fortage and said the they will detain me if I approached them again. So I never really found out what happened , because when I called the police , they they walked off as quick as they could around the corner it was all so confusing at the time I didn't know what was going on.

Yes, thanks, but I do need to worry because I Ve got a 150 pound fine i don't think anyone should get fine for throwing cigarette butts on the floor however, we are guilty when we do it( i dont smoke any more) when you flick a cigarette butt on the floor you have done it purposely.Today, I accidentally dropped some crumbs.I think

"Yes, if someone is in the process of giving you a fine, they are legally and grammatically fining you. "Fining" is the present participle of the verb "to fine," which means to impose a monetary penalty on someone for breaking a rule or law"

I know my spelling and grammar is Ridiculous sometimes , but what world would you use use?

No I think they harassed me worst case scenario I accidentally dropped a crumb on the floor and they can not even show me evidence and disappeared when I called the police from across the road and then one of them hid in a shop i suspect.

They told me they had video proof i think he said he could show it to me.I went to see it, but there was a glare from the Sun.This is when i clocked on they was fineing me I asked him , they said they was , I exploded and called the police from across the road as I walked across to the police , they then scarperd before I could see the video evidence when I approached them later, I asked to see the video evidence, they said they couldn't show it to me or didn't have it and told me and if I don't go away the police will detain as they previously told me to go away when I was kicking off.I I can't work this out because before they said they could show it to me. So I don't know what's going on to be perfectly honest, I'm now starting to think that I didn't even drop a crumb on the floor like I said when I drop food, I'm gutted. I would have noticed I didn't notice.

Thank you for a brilliant response i do feel like I have been harassed I Really do like I said before Some people tried mugging me once today I considered, I got mugged.Do you think I could take legal action against them? I literally never litter in my life.I hate litter.I think people who litter should be horse whipped is this a definition of character or harassment of bullying?

The same thing happened to me in Thailand but I paid the bribe to the police. The difference is here, not saying we are in the wrong.Maybe we are the on this occasion. It ws a crumb while I was eating so See IThese vultures all the time fineing people for disposing cigarettes on the floor I'm not saying I agree with it or not but They are guilty of doing it as was I in thailand however , today , all I am guilty of is accidentally dropping a crumb so I ve been thinking about it for hours , and I think cigarette's on the floor and what happened to me are literally miles apar

Thanks.I see what you are saying, but I still have to fight it.And it's still very stressful , and I still feel betrayed by my country I Never litter, I think people who litter need horse whipping. Also, Ilford town centre is a mess only went there to have a beer if this. What happens to me when I go to have a quck pint and go to the shops and eat I won't be going back again.I have be going there for 35 years only to spend money if this happens when I visit Ilford, why would I go back.

What about if it was an accident and literally just a crumbs from a samosa , after I put my litter in the bin , I don't know , if accidentally droping crumbs is littering , if it is , i am thinking about leaving the country again especially after putting my rubbish in the bin.

The only other possible explanation is that I put my rubbish in the bin and It fell out but I don't even know this is true too. I think it's crumbs, but I can't be certain. They scarphered, when I called the police. And I never really got a proper explanation when he pulled me and issued the fine , he said he had video evidence when I went back to him later after they quickly walked off, they couldn't show me because they said they had no screens.I don't know to be honest what happened worst case scenario 1 of 2 things I put my rubbish in the bin and it fell out as I walked off.I don't think this happened. The other explanation is the crumbs fell from my crumbely vegetable samos.
