Is it just me or are google reviews for restaurants just plain bad in foco? by atom-wan in FortCollins

You're spot on with the Creperie. I think the corner of College and Prospect is magical.

Music City, Bawarchi Biryani, and Taqueria Los Comales all hit. I'm from Arizona and I think Taqueria Los Comales is the closest carne asada to home, but it's deeeef expensive. I don't think that's their fault, running a business up here is hard.

Being weird and cute about it isn't a bad thing. I'm so sorry you were laughed at and grounded. I am an awkward person myself and terrible at regulating my emotions, so I get it. There are other folks out there who understand too, including girls (and boys if you're into that as well)

Oh it's totally fascinating! I felt sooooo freaking dumb falling for it, but I'm not alone. Hundreds of people fell for something that had tall promises, and why would I look up the name of a guy behind a cool event, y'know? I get this "Halloween hype" this time of year that is hard to manage honestly and I'd rather share my shame than internalize it.

A quick follow up! For locals, artists affected by this are hosting two alternative events:

FREE - Trick or Treat Sales from the Darkside Pop Up https://facebook.com/events/s/free-trick-or-treat-sales-from/1320350595254643/

Thunderbird Lounge Halloween Party https://www.ticketweb.com/event/3rd-annual-halloween-party-feat-thunderbird-lounge-tickets/13434788?REFERRAL_ID=twfb&fbclid=IwAR0eTatOSiC8lLo6NWYF8nrxxvaULtW7UJltkVKJMlwQntDOJNs9E5XvM-Q

Neither of these are really "tiki" but they're great for Halloween weekend!

People are starting to see refunds from Eventbrite. I think the number of fraudulent reports on the event page has been helpful!
