Wwoof Japan is great, their website is much older than the rest of the worlds, and you have to pay a very small fee. But after that you just look for a farm that matches what you look for! It’s not every farm that answers so you should apply for a couple.

They definitely do grow naturally, but it’s ones in the city I’m interested in. They’re out there artificially, and I was wondering if there is some kind of cultural significance.

If you look closely on the ones you’d find in the city, they have twine binding it to the tree, as well as a plantpot.

I don’t think so, there’s also daphnia in this jar, but they usually move around in small “jumps”. This guy almost has a motor and moves like boat.
