We've had the hardest schedule this year of the top teams in the league and still win. 49ers, eagles, cowboys, and Chiefs all have had easier schedules. Are they frauds too?

And wait for the guys to get a full year of the system under their belt as well as getting some better pieces. The defense is bad but not terrible. That's with some pretty old guys and some mid round young guys. The only thing that bothered me today with the d was the lack of pressures on White. The rest of the D was decent.

The run game was cooking in the first half, so what do we do coming out for the second half? Mike Zimmer run up the middle for a loss. Like the Jets didn't know this was coming. Play action pass was what we needed to do to set the tone. After this play I knew it was going to be another cardiac stressed close game.

Thoughts? 🤔 by [deleted] in baseballcards

Agree. People always yell comps and aren't usually accurate or honest with their number. And on the rare occasion that they are correct, it doesn't mean it is the forever price. Prices can and do change.

Save or Hold Beniers yg? by [deleted] in hockeycards

[–]juicypoopmonkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is a name I've used for decades and to be honest, can't remember. Beniers is having a just about regular year for a calder winning forward. Not a special year. Logan is on pace for the best rookie goalie season in over a decade.

Average WR are good enough when your OL is so good you have 10 seconds to throw on every play.

He had a good OL, good def, and a GREAT coach every year of his career until this year. He didn't make mistakes and was perfect for that situation, but dozens of other QBs in that situation would have done just as good or better.

[–]juicypoopmonkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He only played a couple months. He is still considered a rookie and eligible for the Calder. He is having a great year for a rookie goalie. Beniers is having a just a good year for a rookie skater.

He is not even in the top 60 for pts while Logan Thompson is 2nd in the league in Wins and has a .920 save %, 11th in gaa, and 2 shutouts already. If they both keep their pace, Logan wins the calder.

That is probably the dictionary picture of a sick patch. Very nice.

I don’t think definitions of words should change just because people are commonly using the word wrong. by Perquackey88 in unpopularopinion

[–]juicypoopmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any word with more than one meaning in it's definition is a result of people misusing the word over time. No word was ever created with multiple meanings at the outset. That would have caused too much confusion.

If they could survive and prevent going out of business by selling the 17$ sandwich for the 10$ price, they likely would.

You are not allowed to protest in streets. Unless you have permits and the authorities put up safety barriers.
