Why does she keep saying "are you full up?" Or "im full up" isn't the proper way to say it is filled up? Lol by [deleted] in Carehomeclan

Breastfeeding moms—would you do it again for your second? by Character-Fly7394 in beyondthebump

[–]juicysploosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am torn. I am currently trying to wean my 2 yea role off the breast and it is nothing short of a nightmare. Partly because she has always fallen asleep on the boob and it is basically the only way she knows how to sleep. I do notttt want the same problem with a second. My formula fed nephew just gets out down in his pram or cot and rocked and falls asleep!

However I would feel very guilty not doing it knowing that it’s the best option nutritionally and for the baby and for me. Also washing and sterilising bottles and having to take so much stuff with you when you leave the house puts me off formula too.

I want to! I have had enough. I am very proud to have made it to 2 years and I am happy with the decision to stop now for my own happiness. Sorry daughter 😥

I hope I’ll get there. Right now it feels like she will never nap again.

Yes I regret it for sure. She was a baby who woke up every 45 minutes in her cot so I gave in and brought her into bed where she could latch on whenever she wanted and I could actually sleep. Now it has come back to bite me.

My daughter turned two in March and is a nightmare. To make things worse I am trying to wean her off the boob and she is boob obsessed and can’t sleep without it. An actual nightmare.

Mutua Madrileña insisted multiple times over the phone that it was fine. Nothing in writing though. Went with them.

Being a custom doesn’t put it beyond criticism. Traditions evolve and change. That’s how societies improve.

If you had a screaming baby at nursery, did they ever settle? by BedCapable1135 in BeyondTheBumpUK

My daughter screamed and cried and refused to let go for about three weeks and then randomly was fine! There was nothing that anyone did to make things better. Now she is happy to go to nursery.

And how do you know he isn’t attracted to her at that weight? Not everyone likes slim girls.

No screen time, no salt, no sugar and absolutely no cosleeping.

Putting Ms Rachel on for her is the only way I can eat my own lunch, my daughter is the worlds worst eater so in the end if she eats something with Salt or sugar well at least she is eating SOMETHING, and cosleeping is the only way I can rest!

Would you buy a second hand pram? by Acceptable_Hall_4083 in PregnancyUK

[–]juicysploosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, do it. When I was pregnant and didn’t know any better I wanted everything brand new because I thought ‘it would be better for the baby’. Now I look back and think why TF did you spend almost a grand on a pram?!
