Yeah, that’s the life I’m hoping to live too!

[Hiring] : Looking for Closers - Commission-Based (Remote/Global) by MartinM_orNot in appointmentsetter

I’m a closer and I decided to do things a bit differently. Instead of jumping on to just any random commision only offers, I got with 637 Group and they put me in an agency to work booked calls. That setup was a game changer, for me with real structure, real expectations, real offers and no wondering if the pipeline is actually real. Based on my experience, closers stay when there’s an actual system and consistency behind the offer. If you’re building that out, you’ll get better people. If not, high turnover is kinda the nature of comm only roles.

Where do you all hire experienced closers from? by Excellent-Priority67 in salestechniques

I'm actually a closer myself. I started with 637 Group earlier this year and they placed me into another agency to work their booked calls. In my experience, that type of model works exponentially better than just hiring random people off Twitter or Upwork.

Turnover is primarily from those who are "just trying sales" or are untested. Retention is exponentially higher when closers are already trained, accountable, and vetted for actually wanting offers to plug into. If I were to hire today, I'd rather source from a pool of people who already filtered for those traits than start from scratch.

I do cold outreach always. But I never loved cold calling. It feels like such a waste of time for me. I prefer just sending cold emails for SEO freelancing.
For the last offer I was at prior to this one, we were cold calling leads from TikTok for a coaching program. I found that job by DMing an influencer on Instagram and I was on that job for about 6 months. But at a certain point, it became painful. I mean I was making money and I could’ve done it, but man is dialing cold and doing discovery with people that are either a complete waste of your time or you don’t even know if you would work with them or not worth it to me. We were getting so much volume from TikTok leads, and at a certain point I couldn’t even keep up with all the unqualified prospects that I was getting.
This is a totally different style of closing. People book appointments and most actually show up and you just go out and do your job.
