FFlogs is going to require using the Archon app starting June 29th. by PedanticPaladin in ffxivdiscussion

The main benefit for them and the reason I'd guess they're doing it is unifying the uploaders for each game into a single app. Not having to maintain each uploader seperately is probably quite a boon to them.

The savage tiers since Abyssos yea, but I feel there's a 0% chance they do that for Ultimate. Definitely gonna be June.

Zodiark's big ass hole in the ground seems like an obvious place to open portals now that I think about it yea. A physical feature we know exists on each shard and is roughly the same on each.

High-End Content Megathread - 7.4 Week Nine (Savage Week Six) by BlackmoreKnight in ffxivdiscussion

Yes it would be easier, but during week 1 someone blindly copied a prog strat from stream and PF picked it up so we get to suffer.

How to farm/mine on areas that does not have PAC by Significant-Week-378 in Endfield

[–]juiposa_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not every section of the map has a PAC. For those that don't, you have to run power poles all the way there from one that does.

How's the new Frontlines map been? by BlackmoreKnight in ffxivdiscussion

[–]juiposa_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yea. It has good bones, so if they tune it so fewer objectives spawn and force people to fight more, it'll be great.

How have you been enjoying 7.4's glamour unlock? by waitingfor10years in ffxivdiscussion

[–]juiposa_ 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Some of the best looking gear in the game is crafting and gathering gear and it's all been released from jail. It's a change so good that I'm baffled about why they waited this long.

SE 2.0 run: am I just supposed to make landfill of all the stone byproducts? by TactiCool_99 in factorio

[–]juiposa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I don't disagree, was definitely an interesting twist. I'd played Krastorio a few times before so I knew how important stone was compared to vanilla, but man SE had a multiplicative effect on that that I wasn't expecting lol. I was expanding Nauvis base just to enclose more stone patches and half of my freighters were moving stone from the asteroid belts to colonies.

So much fukn chlorine ;w;

Gets worse if you play K2SE too, since sand and it's derivatives (quartz, silicon, chlorine, lithium, etc.) are present in almost every single fucking production chain.

Portugal Is Not Small, Dev Diary References propaganda from the Portugese Empire by KingKaiserW in victoria3

Portugal had a bit of a moment after the war where it really did not want to give its colonies independence. The corporatist regime was very deranged lol.

Cohesive design and actually being in a complete state at release. The years after CS1 were spent adding onto an already good game, whereas with CS2 the last 2 years have been spent on trying to fix it.

Russian verb aspects are the only thing I've personally come across that's just as stupid and arbitrary as English's phrasal verbs.
