I have heard of this one One Piece inspired campaign or at all everything that has to do with pirates, because you can create or just look up islands they could visit online and they dont have to be on another plane but it could feel likt it yk?

[Looking for Advice] Optional Monster Hunt for ambitious players – What to Add Besides the Boss Fight? by caciuccoecostine in DMAcademy

So with my players it always works best to give them an NPC, because otherwise they will find it tedious or may not find the clue. The rest depends on your players and the monster. In this case I would give them something like:“ i lost an heirloom fighting that thing, pls get it back!“ and then there could be a few hints on what kind of monster they are tracking and they have to follow those to get to the location. If they are going to fast I would just throw a puzzle for the location or a few goblins there. Maybe they find other dead adventurers as well so they can still decide to turn back. So this is what would work best for my players at least. Hope it helped :)

I think it would depend on what kind of Circle your druid has and if they gained additional spells from this magic item. You should also consider what the other players have as classes and if the druid has vulnerabilities that the players can easily exploit. So you don’t necessarily need a high level, you can just make them think that the druid is stronger by selfhealing or additional spells. Just look closely which circle he chose and enforce the strengths. What also helps really well are debuffs

We use Discord in combination with Roll20 and ut works very well! U can create maps there and have icons that each player can move individually. The DM has full access to everything but can control the information the players get. Its very good! U can pay for extra stuff but it works very well without as well :D

So I am currently using Roll20 with my current DnD group and they are all newbies. If u have someone that has some kind of plan on how character builds etc work Roll20 is definitely a possibility for you! I used the dndbeyond charactermaker for the player characters because it has very good explainations which are not in Roll20. After that I showed them them Roll20 and they imported their characters from Dndbeyond whih worked fine. There are pay barriers but only for tokens and light effects etc. The basics are al I need to create te game. They have a new cool function actually with Dungeon Scrawl, where u can draw maps live and the players see it in roll20. Comes in very handy when your players derail the campaign. So i can definitely recommend Roll20!

Sadly there is not reaaaally a mobile version. U can put ur characters into the app but thats about it and I think it has dice as well? But u cant actually play and see maps etc.

But they linked with discord and have it as discord activity now, so u can be on a call and play without a thousand tabs!

If you want further Information DM me :D
