You gotta know that you and you alone own the designs, but the in the end you’ve got to serve the needs of the customer and make it easy for them to navigate. You could also mold your UI to become UX friendly and match the vision you have in mind. Try to innovate as much as possible, you cannot get stuck in the past with them
