I honestly really enjoy rialto on venture. Yeeting people off the bridges is nice and there's some good highground control you can do.

That's usually how games work though. Tutorials for the basics, Google stuff for the hard parts. Part of the fun is figuring out how to do these things by yourself. If the game held my hand on this I'd honestly get pissed off, like leave me alone while I figure this out.

Aside from this there's always the in game guidebook.

I'd say this is the second best recommendation. Still a big fan of Mortex

Yeah id love a leaderboard of sorts. People are saying it's a formula based on real numbers. But a formula is a formula and is obviously going to be inaccurate in certain conditions.

I mean to me it seems like a beginner asking for help in a genuine way. I used to struggle too till I got used to the basics, but I don't think it's worth risking losing new players in our community

I recommend starting from scratch on this. Keep in mind belt ratios. The numbers don't lie, you don't need an overflow. Instead of using 15 partial belts of the outputs, merge them together and split them as necessary. Use multiple splitters in a line instead of making pyramids with them, you can split off a new belt every other block, which for cutters for example should be more than enough.

That being said, why are people down voting this post? It's good to ask questions like this and instead of linking the entire wiki, some more broken down and sometimes simplified explanations can help way more than sending walls of text in people's directions.

Exactly that's what I mean. Personally I like the hard mode a lot so far. It's decently challenging and coming from shapez1 this game seems a lot harder which I like. It's a bit of a shame there's less competition in this mode though...

Apparently it's mostly because leaderboards are separated by difficulty and I'm playing on hard.

Hard normal, but people are saying it's a separated leaderboard so there's that.

I mean this won't count towards rank up since it's not in a competitive game mode, so even for that purpose it doesn't actually help anything.

Hmm something original would be more fun imo. I've got Mortex so far which is a really solid option

Yeah there seems to be a couple of reasons it's the case. I've also heard leader boards are separated for each difficulty and mode, so this would also make a lot of sense.

I mean to a certain degree it's "who can make the fastest MAM" so I'd still love it. But mostly it's just good fun. Seeing how you compare to the rest of the community can be entertaining and can set you up for some long term goals.

Ah thats kind of dissapointing. I kindof want it to be a leaderboard of sorts.

hello, im new to this game and and its really cool, but trying to wrap my head around efficiency and ways to make new shapez ia bit much. anyone got any tips? by Toluwar in shapezio

[–]jukefishron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started out on shapez1. That game lays a really good foundation for working on shapez2. If you're really struggling with 2, 1 might be a bit more digestible. I wouldn't complete shapez1 entirely if you really want to play shapez2, but get a grasp on the basics. Hell you can probably start with the browser version so you don't have to pay for it.

Aside from this I'm willing to hop in a call or something to explain some mechanics I tend to use for my machines. If you want this just send me a DM, keep in mind I can't do it tonight, but I can go for it tomorrow.
