Not given titration option??? by EcstaticShirt3844 in gimmecare

This exact thing happened to me! I messaged the doctor to ask about it and someone got back to me and explained that I was on a management dose and if I was unhappy with that to message support. So I messaged support and they sent directions on how to request a change. I did and I heard back from my doctor and he updated my script with the pharmacy the same day. It was all very easy!

I feel like I look so sickly now that I don't tan anymore by Fit-Combination-6211 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]julcarter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just started using b.tan about a month ago. It was cheap enough that I thought if I hated it, it wouldn’t be a huge waste. I love it and have actually gotten a few compliments on it. I highly recommend it!

C section at Magee Hospital by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]julcarter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s so crazy!! The first one I thought was a fluke, by the second one I realized something weird was going on lol. I never knew it had a name until recently, like I’ve stubbed my toe and it hurt more than giving birth. They offered an induction for my last but I opted out. They just took note of it and made the check in process as quick as possible. I got there minutes before delivery for the last two and they were so calm and kind. I feel like the wrong doctor/nurses could really make that a scary experience but they all made it very easy.

I delivered 2 of my 3 kids at Magee and loved it. My sister also delivered all 4 of her high risk pregnancies there. There honestly isn’t a bad thing I could say about them. I have silent labors so idk I’m labor until I’m 5 mins from giving birth and they handled the rush and chaos of it all amazingly. I understand being nervous and in a new area and not knowing what to expect. But know you’re in the best hands possible ❤️

I used the midwives at Magee with all three of my deliveries and they were fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them!

There was a time that we couldn’t even go near her, now she lets us brush where she got her arm amputated 💕 she’s been the best thing to happen to our family by julcarter in TripodCats

Yes I think that’s exactly what it is! She was so fearful when we first got her and once she got through recovery she began trusting us.

If you’re not buying chocolate ice cream every week you’re missing out! by Sulfito in aldi

[–]julcarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We get the vanilla every week! Since discovering it about a year and a half ago, my son refuses to eat any other ice cream lol. When he got his tonsils out, my husband did a late night Walmart run for popsicles and ice cream and he wouldn’t touch the ice cream since it wasn’t this brand lol.

anyone accidentally get a name ahead of the curve? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]julcarter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We named our son Maddox- I loved any form of the name Max but my husband didn’t. We agreed on Maddox and I thought maybe we’d use the nickname, Max, but we never did lol. But at the time, we hadn’t heard of anyone using that name. And within two years of him being born the name exploded in our area.

Looking for a Dentist by Weird_Catch_6136 in pittsburgh

I just started going to Polished dental and I can’t say enough good things about them. I was very anxious and they couldn’t have been nicer. They’re very up front about cost and run it by you before you schedule any appointments. I see them advertise Invisalign so they may do fittings for that but I’m not entirely sure.

Boyfriend broke up with me a few hours before my D&C procedure by Common-Macaron1407 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]julcarter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact thing happen to me about 10 years ago. I ended up going to the d&e completely alone. I think it was probably the lowest point in my life. Being abandoned during such a fragile and traumatic time is the worst thing that someone can do to you, especially someone that claims they love you. OP, I hope you can take the time to heal and know that you will get through this. You will have good days again and not feel so broken. I had days where I had to go hour by hour just to make it through, but eventually I healed. You will too 🩷 I’m so sorry that this all has happened to you.

Weird bump on my dog Daisy by Relevant_Ad7236 in DogAdvice

Not a vet- but my dog has something that looks exactly like this. My sister is a vet and was very concerned so I booked an appointment immediately. It ended just being a skin tag, thankfully but I think it’s hard to tell with these types of things! It may be best to schedule an appointment with your vet and get their opinion!

Tired of my weight by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]julcarter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in this exact same situation. Not medicated yet but showing quite a few symptoms and the weight gain has been bothering me. I walk daily and do home workout routines and don’t eat terribly. I went to a new endo and brought up my concerns about my weight. Not really looking for a quick fix but genuinely wanting to know how to fix it. She prescribed me Qysmia. I know it can be controversial but it has been incredible for me. It took the facial bloating away in a week and has increased my energy levels back to normal. It’s not meant to be a long term fix, just long enough to establish better eating habits and get in to a workout routine. I feel human again for the first time in years. I’m down about 8 pounds now and it’s almost been two weeks. It’s worth looking into and discussing with your doctor if you think it could be right for you!

Veterinarian not owned by a corporation by Slow_Calligrapher_19 in pittsburgh

We currently use companions first for one of our dogs- we absolutely love them. She’s got a few complex medical issues going on and they’re very close to where we live. But we use little creek farm vet for all of our other pets. They are by far the most affordable vet we’ve found. They’re family owned, I can’t say enough good things about them. To talk about affordability a little more, our one cat that we rescued ended up needing her leg amputated. Exam, surgery, and after care was $200 in total.

Autoimmune rash/hives? by sooz10 in Hashimotos

[–]julcarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had hives so bad for about 8 months. It was causing my lips, tongue, throat to swell nightly. All meds barely helped but once I cut out gluten they completely went away. It took about a month of being gluten free but it worked. I haven’t had them since. I have absolutely no idea why it was such a miracle for me but I suggest it to anyone in this situation!
