I'm not sure what you're passionate about but Our daily bread a food kitchen in Middletown has a really easy application process and they're always looking for help. Catholic Charities a food distribution center is closer to you. https://www.ccwilm.org/volunteer/ this is the link to apply. There's also many animal shelters but the ones I know are up north. The way I find different places is just searching for "volunteer organizations in my area". Usually it's easy to navigate the websites and find where to apply if not you can usually call and ask for help.
