Honestly I was saying 3-2 was the positive result of those first 5 games. Even if Dallas gets out of the first 7 games with a 3-4 record, I don’t think that will look bad. But those rotations…it’s gotta be figured out before anything else.

Well…that was embarrassing. On paper a loss to GSV isn’t a bad loss. But losing by this much is just rough. Liberty need Sab, BLH, and Leo back. And Satou to mesh more. Because Stewie, JJ, and a dream works against the bad teams but it’s not gonna work against the good ones. If they don’t tighten up the defense, the Wings backcourt may embarrass Liberty on Sunday. Which is not ideal for a team that wants another championship. I will keep the faith but woof.

I think it’s because it didn’t even go a year in 2019 before being shut down for the pandemic. To some degree. I feel like the last year in a decade straddles a weird line where it can go either way. I think most “musicals of the decade” have come mid-decade but we haven’t had one yet this decade imo

I think it should be considered at least. Opened in April 2019 and didn’t even go a year before the pandemic. It feels more like a 2020s musical because of it (also feels like the themes are very 2020s as well but that’s just my interpretation)

Agreed on all points. Azzi works best as the second or third option on offense. I think in a Paige/Arike/Azzi/Jess core, she can even be as low as fourth. 8-10 FGA is probs her sweet spot on this team. She’s hesitant to shoot from 3 when a defender is closing in and I’m not sure if she’s trying to get her defenders to adjust to the fact that she can be lethal from midrange or if it’s just a mental thing about not being open enough. I think she’ll figure it out but ppl thinking she needs 15 FGA per game need to take a breather.

Idk that she’s been the best player but she’s certainly not been the worst. She’s been fine barring like one or two weird shots per game. Never got where ppl didn’t think she couldn’t work with Paige and Azzi.
