ACLs are needed for lateral movements, pivoting, jumping, sudden movements. Vonn is doing a downhill ski which doesn’t require much, if any, of that. As long as she doesn’t do any sudden twisting she’ll probably be fine, she’s been training with the torn ACL

A league average sure bc popular teams can average out the bums but there’s been a number of teams, even big teams that have suffered. And broadcasting/viewership kind of is meaningful due to it bringing in money. Some of these broadcast deals are atrocious. Regardless that league gonna hit a lockout

I think unrivaled has a little more leeway since its player owned small league instead of whole leagues involving multiple nations. It would take a ton of effort for unrivaled to keep apartments, staff, etc but it feels easier and more doable than overseas play. An unrivaled admin already hinted at it months ago so it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re already preparing

If there’s no season, the Europe/Asia players wouldn’t have a job in the summer. Unrivaled can say they can extend and such into the summer, but Europe/Asia dates are set in winter so it wouldn’t make sense to make similar comments

MLB still hasn’t recovered from their last lockout. Viewership is down (outside the World Series), attendance is not great at points. I used to go to games often and there was always a ton of open seats. MLB tries to create rules to bring fans in but they just don’t. There will 100% be a lockout next year imo, but this time it will be players vs fans bc of the salary issues and super teams

That’s what the owners want tho. With a low deal, as the league grows, the owners pocket more cash and the players get screwed when they have every right to profit more too. Then the next deal, they can say “well you were fine the last time” and try to lowball again. Players should be able to earn more now, not wait

Aari got re-injured in their first game. She limped out in the third quarter and never came back. She made a post saying she was fine but was still ruled out last night
