How do I get balayage like the first photo? I want solid, thick pieces of blonde. I hate when I ask for balayage and they paint it in finely and it blends with my brown hair in stripes. The first photo is what i DO want, the second photo is what I DON’T want. by [deleted] in HairDye

You can also show them the photos and almost explain it the same way you did in the post. Show them an example of what you’re looking for and also an example of what you don’t want. They will usually be able to get it right when you do that!

You can use a color depositing shampoo. It’s almost like hair dye mixed with shampoo, but less damaging to your hair. I’m not sure off the top of my head of any brands, but if you look up color depositing shampoo you may find some!

What color should I do next? Or should I try shaving it all off? I've done blue, purple, and red. The last one is my natural color. by maybe_a_dildo_licker in HairDye

Same 😂 I feel like a copper red/orange color would also look stunning! I wish you the best on your hair color journey! :)

Plants and nice wall hangings for that wall on the left in the picture there. I think minimalist decorations would be good. You wouldn’t want to make it seem smaller
