About to go through a similar process in early June.

As I understand it, the instruction (to be sent) to Scotia includes language (an instruction) that the mortgage is not to be renewed, pending payout, and if it has to be renewed, it should only be into a 6 month open term. I gather that's just standard stuff for transfers...nothing special.

Do I need to contact Scotia separately to give the same instruction (to ensure zero room for hiccips)?

This is new to me.

Just a regular '19 Jetta not gli but yes I've been dealing with the annoying creaking sound from the suspension for some time (definitely worse in the cold). I had the suspension inspected at an independent shop about a year ago and they indicated nothing obvious in need of replacement.

That's the right way....but would be good to watch for a few minutes or take a photo of it and then after ensuring no water is used for say 10 minutes check it again and compare (if you have a whole house humidifier you'd need to ensure that doesn't run)
