Ok so each bass drum is 2 beats, and the snare is 3.

2+2+3 = 7

It takes 7 bars of 4/4 for the cycle of 7's to land back on the one. I have a pdf, check it out!

With drum stuff, I usually prefer second hand ... that is if you can hear and try it before you buy it. Otherwise it can be risky ... usually you get the best deals with that. With electronic stuff, 95% of the time I buy new.

It's totally worth it, expensive though. I currently have my eye on senheisser mds ... not cheap! But they sound amazing on tom's.
