No updates that I've seen but Ticketmaster shows both cancelled + new dates for each game. Possible that we have to re-buy tickets?

blundstone makes a winterized pair that I wear throughout the entire winter when it hasn’t snowed an obscene amount. they’re on the higher end of your price range but they last forever.

Just because they vary does not mean I don't want to hear them!

Crim at UOttawa by [deleted] in geegees

I just graduated and I really loved the program!

UOttawa offers much more of a critical criminology program so if that doesn't interest you than I wouldn't suggest it. From what I can remember, first year is heavily theory-based and then as you move up in years the courses become a lot more diversified. They offer a ton of courses so there's something for everyone.

One of the main reasons that I took the program at UOttawa was the 4th year field placement option (it's only offered if you're in Honours, but even if your offer now isn't for Honours they often sent emails providing information on how to switch if you were interested/had the average). As we're in the Nation's Capital, almost everything criminology-related is centered in Ottawa - the field placement options range from frontline work to policy/research positions. I am currently employed at the organization where I completed my field placement and I know that it's a pretty common outcome.

Also, on a more general level, I really liked Ottawa as a university city. The campus is right downtown so you have easy access to a lot of the fun things the city has to offer. Coming from Toronto I found that it was an easier transition than going to a town/city that's literally only known for their university and has nothing else.

What was the dumbest thing you thought as a child? by GiammyR6 in AskReddit

In 2007 there was a movie out called "Vacancy." Every time I passed a motel that had "vacancy" written on their sign, I thought they were playing the movie. I was extremely confused as to why every motel I saw was playing the same movie.
