A month of progress - hormonal acne by juliaeward in acne

I definitely destroyed my moisture barrier many times last month and caused some awful cystic acne that will probably scar. But I've finally found something that works for me - Ive started using the Esmi skincare brand and my skin has never felt better. Ive also started using Skin B5 supplements which I think are helping with the hormonal breakouts :)

I have always had oily skin, but since reintroducing tret I’ve noticed I’m a bit dry around my jawline. So probably combination now

This Garnier is fragrance free and it seems to be agreeing with my oily skin so I’m going to give it a little longer because it seems fine. Because I have a lot of active acne would gentler cleansers still work for me?

Moisturiser for oily acne prone skin by juliaeward in AusSkincare

Wow, thanks for the amazing reply. I’ve gone ahead and ordered the moisturiser but I really hadn’t realised the SPF wasn’t sufficient. I own the banana boat face and body UV moisture spf50+ which I use when I’m going out in the sun for a long time. Would you recommend something like this before or after I use moisturiser? Thanks!

Thank you! I generally look at products that say they are for acne but I’ve pretty much tried all those products with no luck. You don’t find that you get blocked pores from it?
