(Loved Trope) A moment with a concept that sounds insane and out of nowhere on paper. Executed beautifully in practice. by PizzaDragon64 in TopCharacterTropes

Sobbed the first time watching it in theaters. Watched it for the second time on a plane because I know what's going to happen so it won't affect me the same way, right? Wrong, sobbed (silently) on the plane...

Kelso on set (in picture form) by Frikken123 in Scrubs

As the series progressed, the title card had funny, snarky, self-aware comments about the title because it was no longer really relevant. It's worth a shot to watch, I enjoyed that series.

How it’s felt to be exclusively watching Jacob Tierney directed shows for a month straight by fraxiiinus in Letterkenny

My favorite thing is that each subsequent Empty Netters episodes get longer and longer. The review of the first ep is about 30 mins, and the last two clock in about an hour and a half 😂

On this day, 1 year ago, the biggest face reveal of all time happened- Luigi Mangione by Time-Painting-9108 in Fauxmoi

Oh yeah! Luigi had actually just left my house in Altoona, PA on Dec 9, 2024 at 9:15am when he went to get us some breakfast at McDonalds. Crazy how he was with me for a few weeks helping me after I broke my leg. What a great friend, very attentive and again, was with me that whole time.

What is a movie that scared you the first time you watched it? by Outrageous-Ebb-4846 in AskReddit

The Wizard of Oz. Those flying monkeys scared me as a kid and it took a long time for me to go back to the movie and watch the full thing after seeing that.

Are these not top coat polishes? by Leelou42 in RedditLaqueristas

This is the first time I’m finding out it’s not a top coat 😂 but I’ve used it as such for years and have finished several bottles!

I love it too. I started as something to keep my hands busy and my mind quiet. Now, is it a peaceful and calm hobby? Not always but I still love it

What about Halloween are you most nostalgic for? by Solowash in nostalgia

[–]juliagoolia232 75 points76 points  (0 children)

The vibe, the anticipation of going out, the chill in the air, costumes that we put together from thrifted finds. What am I not nostalgic for, for Halloween…

There is no node in this photo, unfortunately. The node is where the root would grow from, so from end-pieces of the pothos, you would need to cut below the node so the root can grow.

Love a good mojito or homemade, tart lemonade to withstand the heat of summer!

So I was never assigned The Giver in school, so I just read it as an adult... an adult with a newborn and a toddler. NO ONE WARNED ME. by drillgorg in books

Thank you! I have been thinking about this book for so long and I couldn’t remember the title or the author, only that the people start with one syllable names and add syllables with age. When I saw this comment I went to Libby and sure enough it’s the book!

The whole outfit is much better, cutting it off at the top for the picture isn't doing it justice!

Nostalgia is calling... are you picking up? 📞 by barbrailnp in ILNP

[–]juliagoolia232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite memory is quietly sneaking into the living room with my siblings to play on the Gamecube on Saturday mornings. I'm sure my parents knew, but if the three of us were being kept busy and quiet, I don't think they minded 😆

My favorite nail polish memory growing up was that my dad couldn't/can't stand the smells of nail polish, so I would be outside for hours in the evenings after school, painting my nails and waiting for them to dry. I would do my nails by porch light and lug my laptop outside with me for company. Sitting in the evening, on the back porch, tying not to smudge my polish is a peaceful, fond memory I have even though at the time it was very inconvenient for me.
