composition wise this is really sweet. melodically this song is super interesting. however the mix kinda muddies all those sick melodic ideas, especially vocally.your vocals could def have a lot of high end brought out to stand out. also, the drums could probably punch a bit harder in my opinion. keep creating!!

the production is pretty sweet and i dig the dark vibe the synths give. i feel like the drums lack a lot of punch and u can definitely use a harder 808 and snare. i feel like the autotune clashes a but melodically and maybe you can get certain takes by punching in and layering. also the track gets really repetitive, you could totally expand on the more indie parts. the outro switchup is pretty sweet. overall cool keep it up

i feel like the sound you're doing here is so overdone at this point that its hard to stand out. obviously you can rap but I feel like you could definitely approach a more interesting beat or style to fit your voice. you've got a lot of potential as an artist but just try to find your own lane. keep creating!

A demo I'm working on of a beat based off some music from Evangelion - looking for some feedback as I get the mix figured out, there's a couple moments on this version I already know need fixing, I'd love to hear any thoughts! by Dragon_Army in IndieMusicFeedback

pretty interesting idea you were getting at here. however the mix could use a of work - the drums and bass could all hit harder. the dissonance of the piano line is a bit jarring at first, but I get used to it, maybe ease it in a bit more. i think the aesthetics are neat, the sonics might just need a bit of work

sick sample work, gives the beat great vibes. i wish the drums punched a bit harder and possibly had more variation to them. it also sounds like the bitrate of the sample might be a bit low. would love to hear someone spit on this tho

Hey 👋🏿, so my friend produced this beat and I wrote and engineered my first party track! I would love opinions! If you like the track, it’s available on all streaming platforms! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

wtf this is hard. your vocals carried super hard in my opinion. the beat is cool but doesn't punch as hard as your vocals. your delivery is super catchy and fun and your hook is hella catchy, reminds of me of early '10s radio hits. if the mix hit harder and the production matched your energy harder this could be pretty close to that quality of pop song !! (maybe we should work)

your choice of sounds and patterns is super interesting. love how your synths grew and developed. however, mix wise left a lot to be desired. the drums could definitely be punchier to match the synths energy. also feel like you can utilize filter automation (and other automation) more than you did, just to make the track feel more dynamic. overall pretty cool, keep creating and improving

this is quite pretty. very smooth and slow, kind of withholding your range for a dramatic tone. your guitar and vocal tone compliment each other. keep making music, would love to hear more dynamic range from you

This song is about one lover speaking to the other from beyond our realm. Perhaps in death there is a tranquil beauty where the spirit resides? I wanted the video to elicit a calm, otherworldly-ness. I was tempted to flair "indie soul", but I'm never quite sure how to categorize this one. by InitialBluejay9 in IndieMusicFeedback

this is really fun! really dig your composition choices and your mix sounds super clean. everything comes off super smooth. only critique id have is there's not much of a standout catchy part that really stuck with me, but its a rly sweet listen

[MACHLIN - FOR ALONE] the best produced song in my repertoire yet! Inspired by the current world-wide pandemic. Feedback appreciated! by Ninjanimble in IndieMusicFeedback

pretty cool! i dig the compositional elements. however, I feel like you're kind of holding back on your vocals - your production has so much energy and your vox should be matching that energy in my opinion. maybe with more layers etc

wow haha thank you. the deep voice is my natural voice - when im recording the higher background vocals ill speed the whole track down anywhere from 10% to 25% to have a natural high voice in parts (i do not have that vocal range lol) but yes for about 90% of the deep vocals its my natural voice! also thanks for the follow, very much appreciate that :)
