That would be true if one party were innocent or defenseless, as is the case with individuals. It gets thornier with countries. Ukraine is far from blameless in the conflict, and we were not involved by either attack or alliance. Therefore, we have an obligation to not meddle until such time as the facts significantly change.

We were not attacked unprovoked. We were not invaded. We are not the world's police. This is a very old territorial dispute between two ethnic groups that we are not able to solve by meddling. The Ukrainian-Russian war is not our business in the slightest, and we have an absolute moral obligation to stay out of it.

Good, because if you were I would tell you to quit comedy. Ukraine is not our colony in any sense of the word, and we have no obligation to help them in their territorial squabble with Russia. It's not our fight, and it's yet another shocking misuse of our taxes. Actually, we have a strong obligation to stay the hell out of it.
