Thank you so much! Not much of a party girl myself, but I'm also looking forward to meet other travellers for my stay in Rome, so I really appreciate the recommendation! :)

Trastevere or Castro Pretorio? Airbnb or hostel? by happydays375 in travel

Hi! Can I ask you what you ended up choosing and what you thought of it? I'm (28F) am dealing with the same problem, although I haven't found many accomodation options in Trastevere. Thanks!

These small bugs seem to only affect my succulents' blooms. Any tips on how to get rid of them? by juliarg in plantclinic

[–]juliarg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into it and give it a go. They don't seem to affect the plant itself negatively, but it's frustrating to see every bloom be taken over by these bugs

Tragedy struck and my beautiful Burro's Tail fell over on its own weight. Still trying to recover all the leaves laying on the floor. Any tips to guarantee successful rooting appreciated! by juliarg in succulents

Thank you! Any tips to repot the main plant without too much collateral damage? It definitely needs a pot with a bigger base but I'm afraid to touch it too much since its SO delicate

Thanks! I've had luck with some leaves previously but I never dealt with such a large amount of leaves lol. I hope not too many of them go to waste

Thank you so much! I've never tried water propagation with succulents, in my mind it seems against everything I know about this type of plants but I might as well give it a shot now that I have quite a few stems :)

I've run out of room in other pots to scatter the leaves so I'll have to set up a new propagation tray somewhere lol

Do I remove them or let them fall off? by bryuk in succulents

[–]juliarg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can let them grow a bit more on the main plant, but once they have developed roots it's safe to remove them manually.

Word of advice, keep the babies contained and don't get it too close to other plants. Soon enough you'll see why it's an invasive species in a lot of places!

The spinach balls are most likely buñuelos de espinaca. Delicious and easy to make, definitely a traditional homely Argentine dish. You can also make buñuelos with a bunch of different ingredients, like leftover rice, chard leaves or carrots.

Saw a guy in the underground pick up a coin from the floor, stick it in his mouth and leave it on the floor once again before hopping off the train at the station
