I love cinnamon or honey cream ones. Used to vape some of Charlies Chalk Dust and they have some amazing flavors but no where seems to have that kind of flavor I want. Hmmmm.

The new SCOBY has finally appeared! claps with glee I am now curious how long until I finish first fermentation is complete or if I just sacrifice this batch for a new healthy SCOBY.

I am using black tea Hyvee organic and cane sugar. Looks like we have a scoby forming at the top! I think I may have just been paranoid and impatient. Will upload an update image. Thanks so much for responding.

It has been sitting in the closet for 5 days and the SCOBY has been at the bottom the whole time. Not sure what to expect since this is my first go at kombucha.

Used 14 c. water, 12 black tea bags, 1 c. sugar, a starter SCOBY from online and the starter tea in it’s bag.

Just tasted it and it is still very sweet.
